What is essential is the degree of consciousness you bring to this exercise. Even if it is only for a few seconds, do it with the sense that you are accomplishing a sacred act. It is the intensity that matters, not the duration. Have you ever felt suddenly and inexplicably happy because a thought or a feeling passed through you and changed everything in you? It lasted no longer than a flash of lightening, but it illuminated the rest of your day.
