Temptations : only the high ideal enables us to resist them

It is this love within you that will take up the fight and enable you to succeed. Willpower alone is not enough for the struggle, because sooner or later it will capitulate. It is not sufficient to say: ‘I will not allow myself to be carried away, I will resist!’ In order to resist what pulls you down, you must be helped by a force that projects you to a higher world: a high ideal."
