Tree : analogy with man: both made of light

Yes, a tree is a living creature that knows how to attract and accumulate solar energy. Man is made in the image of the tree: he too is made of fire and light and possesses the same quintessence as the sun. Why do we mislead ourselves by reiterating that we are dust and will return to dust? The initiates tell us just the opposite: ‘You are made of light, you can nourish yourself with light, and you will return to light.’ Yes, man is identical to a tree, and if he understood the laws with which nature works, he too could fix and contain this cosmic force, this energy of the celestial fire – all these forms of the spirit which are wisdom and love."
