"It is normal to have opinions and points of view. But do you ask yourself from time to time why it is that you accept or reject this opinion or that point of view? Try to identify the tendencies in yourself that prevent you from judging impartially, and stop being so sure you are in the right. Until you make up your mind to analyse yourself with a view to improving your conduct, you will continue to clash with others over all kinds of matters that are not worth your while. You must become aware of these lower tendencies which obscure your inner view and sustain your mistaken ideas and opinions, because they prevent you from rediscovering this original unity which will at last allow everyone to understand each other and get along.
