Brotherhood - the collectivity stimulates us and leads us towards good
"The existence of a brotherhood or spiritual collectivity is useful and beneficial for a number of reasons, but particularly because it provides human beings with the most favourable conditions for self-transformation and progress. Often, when we are alone, we do not have the willpower to make an effort to improve ourselves, whereas in a collectivity, we are stimulated and encouraged, and we find it easier.
Yes, example has an enormous influence. So many people – whether through debauchery, alcohol, drugs or crime – have done stupid things because they were influenced by others. If we can accept that a collectivity has the power to lead people into evil ways, why can we not understand that it can be equally powerful in leading them towards good?"Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
