"Just as the sun spreads its light and its warmth, God pours out his love on all beings. But human beings have the power to accept or reject this love. God sends it to us, but those who close themselves off receive nothing, and everything takes place as if God did not love them. Whether human beings love God or not, this changes nothing for Him. Rather it is they who place themselves in an unfortunate position: since they have barricaded themselves in, God cannot get through to them.
The Creator has built the universe on absolute and immutable laws. If we nourish thoughts and feelings of doubt or rebellion, we emit vapours so opaque that they prevent the rays of the divine sun from reaching us, and right away we are plunged into the cold and darkness."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
