Spiritual life - if you love it, you are driven to satisfy this love
"It is difficult to do something we dislike. In order to be drawn to something and work with it, we have to love it. When you are hungry, you love food; you do not need to be told to go and look for something to eat in the cupboard or in the shops.
And this applies to all our activities. If you love the spiritual life, you cannot just sit idly back with your arms folded: you are driven to do everything possible to satisfy your love and your need for purity and light. True, you need a Master, a teacher who can clearly explain to you what the spiritual life entails, the methods needed to embark on it, and the reasons why the spiritual life is important. But it is up to you to love it and live it. The Master provides light, and the disciple responds with their heart.*"Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
