"To pray does not mean to lodge complaints with the Lord so that he will satisfy our desires and make life easier for us. True prayer is a respiration of the soul which spreads its wings in heavenly regions. This respiration acts not only on our psychic and spiritual bodies, but on our physical body. When we know why we are praying and do so sincerely and fervently, we activate a succession of processes in our organism which alters even the movement of electrons in the very substance of our body. You must work to understand the nature of man’s capacity to strive towards a Being or a world that surpasses him, and on contact with which he is regenerated. " Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
