"You cannot thwart your soul’s ardour for long. If you manage to restrain it for a moment, it breaks its chains and takes up its path again to higher worlds. Don’t you want to follow it? At times you suffer a sense of emptiness, of uneasiness. It is the soul that evokes this emptiness and uneasiness to keep you from slipping permanently into spiritual paralysis and death.
So make every effort to follow your soul’s movement. Travel with it beyond the limits of the material world and enter into the sublime realms where all inspiration comes from – that of music, poetry, painting, dance… Some say this is a dream world, but it doesn’t matter what it is called.
