Truths - keeping the brain active and clear to receive them
"You give way to your emotions, your excitement, your passions, and you find that natural. And it may well be natural, but do you consider what state your brain will be in when you need to reflect and solve important problems and understand life’s essential truths? You do not, and that behaviour is disastrous for your evolution.
If your brain is to be strong and available all the time, you must be watchful, sensible, careful and moderate in everything you do. Otherwise, even if all the greatest mysteries were revealed to you, you would understand nothing, hear nothing, see nothing. And it is a pity, a great pity. So, try not to waste time and energy over concerns that are debilitating. Then, you will be awake and clear-headed when presented with those truths that open the way to light and freedom."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
