Evolution - take into account the experience of others
"Those who refuse to take into account the experiences of others show a misguided spirit of independence. Besides, whether they admit it or not, they cannot ignore them entirely.
What do novelists, poets and philosophers do? They live their lives then create works that generally reflect their own experience. Those works become a legacy and a source of nourishment for other human beings. So, we are constantly influenced by the experiences, both happy and unhappy, of others. Consciously or unconsciously, we absorb them, act upon them, and make them our own. This is why we should be thankful that there are books written by human beings who lived a higher life of wisdom, love, goodness and purity. It is fortunate that there are legacies from which we can truly benefit.*"Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
