"Do not rush thoughtlessly into amorous adventures, for the power of emotional bonds is formidable. And when your wings have been badly burned, you will blame love as the cause of all your misfortunes. No, it is only your ignorance about love that brings misfortune, not love itself. For love is God, and in order to live love harmoniously we must first love God and become imbued
with his vibrations. We can then allow ourselves to love other creatures without danger.
One who is connected to the Source can distribute its water, for this water is eternally renewed in him. But if he severs this tie, he quickly becomes a desert, because his reserves are not eternal. And another image: the lifeguard who tries to save a drowning man makes sure he holds on to his legs, not his arms, or they both will perish.
