"The number of the earth is 4, and that of Saturn is 8: 4 x 2. There is a very close relationship between the earth and Saturn, for the numbers 4 and 8 express the same reality on two different planes. The number 4 corresponds to earthly justice and the number 8 to divine Justice, the two sides of Libra. The number 4 is the square that encloses and imprisons, but also the cross with its four directions – north, south, east and west – that define the space within which we move. And the number 8, which is therefore a double cross, symbolizes cosmic balance.
The planet Saturn is under the influence of the sephira Binah, where the Lords of Destiny reign, and when divine Justice needs earthly justice it sends beings to earth for the number 4 of earth to become their prison. So in order to escape from this prison, we must try to reach the higher manifestation of the number 8."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
