"It is quantity that most people seek: quantities of food, money and possessions of all kinds. Even in friendship and love they want quantity. We must understand, however, that the search for quantity not only disperses us and complicates our lives, it contributes to the development of our lower nature by creating more and more desires and needs. In this way it hinders our spiritual progress, and over time it leads to stagnation and death.
On the other hand, when we seek quality we evolve, for quality belongs to a superior order of things and has vibrations that are purer, more luminous and more powerful. Those who seek quality come into contact with wavelengths of greater and greater subtlety, until they reach the most vibrant point there is: the summit, the spirit. It can be said, therefore, that quantity belongs to matter, and quality to spirit."Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
