Happiness - the result of wisdom and love
"Everyone is happy at some point, but for such a short time! Being happy because we have got what we wanted – success, material advantages or even the love of a man or a woman – is not really happiness because we can never be sure that it will last.
True happiness is founded on correct understanding. Initiates always insist on the fact that happiness is a conscious state resulting from the way in which we feel and understand things. Human beings can never be happy while their minds and hearts are a battlefield for their chaotic, destructive thoughts and feelings. The work of initiates has always been to teach humans about wisdom and love because from the light of the intellect and the warmth of the heart are born harmonious movement and constructive, balanced activity.
