"Those whose candle (their spirit) and vigil light (their soul) burn with heavenly fire are capable of lighting the spirits and souls of those around them. It can be likened to Easter morning in the Orthodox churches when everyone lights their candle with the flame of the one next to them. As the candles light up one after the other, they produce an extraordinary effect, as though fire were marching through the church until the whole building is lit by a multitude of tiny flames. All those whose candles are already lit should at least try to light those of their children and family and friends. Why keep the light only for yourselves? Here, you are taught how to light your candle, but it is also so that you can light others; and that is why you must learn to keep the flame alive." Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov
